Praia de Carcavelos - Queer Beach Day

Join us for a Queer Beach Day, a chance to play, swim, or just lounge under the radiant sun!

The Lisbon area has plenty of beautiful beaches, and we've chosen Carcavelos again this year for this event as it's accessible for both those living in Lisbon center, and those in Cascais. Easily reached by foot from the Carcavelos train station, on the Cascais line.

Carcavelos has beach bars, shops for last-minute necessities, and shower and toilet facilities, so bring your best beach gear but know that just about everything you could need is available at the location.

Trains run every 20 minutes from Cais do Sodre, in Lisbon, for a 30 minute ride. Or, Uber or Bolt can take you straight there if you prefer.
