About us

For many queer men, keeping parts of ourselves protected has helped us find acceptance or get through the day. Being easygoing, capable, or "fine" can take a lot of effort, and there aren't many places to set that down with other men.

This circle is a place to slow down and notice what's actually happening, in the body and in the room. Somatic practice simply means paying attention to physical experience, like your breath, tension, or an urge to move closer or pull away, alongside your thoughts. We begin with a short guided practice, then talk in small groups where people listen without giving advice or interrupting.

You choose how much to share, and listening counts. Nothing is recorded, and what others share stays in the group.

Who it's for: queer men, including trans men, ages 18 and up. No experience with somatics needed.

Who's hosting: Mikey, a somatic practitioner, and Anthony, who guides the group through conversation and creative exploration.

This is a facilitated circle for somatic awareness and connection, not therapy or medical care.

An introductory session noticing what we show, what we protect, and how we connect.
For many queer men, keeping parts of ourselves protected has helped us find acceptance or get through the day. There's no demand to let that protection go here. We'll begin with a short guided body-awareness practice, then talk in small groups where people listen without giving advice or interrupting. You choose how much to share, and listening counts.
    What we'll do together

    • Arrive: a gentle welcome and time to notice your surroundings and body.
    • Explore: notice what you show, what you protect, and how that feels.
    • Connect: a founder-led small group, with room to share or listen.
    • Reflect: come back together and make space for what you noticed.
    • Look ahead: hear about possible future offerings, ask questions, and close together.
