Details

{This is a volunteer-run group; at the end of the event description is how you can support us in keeping the group running past attending events!} -this event is on a different day than normal, host will be a maximum of 30 mins late to this event but feel free to get comfortable at the reserved table- (There may be a part time "host helper" [likely a regular] for that small time period.)

Need a "slightly early" mid-week break to relax from the stressors of life? Have an activity you've just not been able to find time for, like working on a drawing, knitting project, playing a card game, doing a crossword, or some creative writing, such as a book or poetry? Join us for a relaxed evening of "low-level" social activities. There will be some art supplies provided such as; plain paper, colouring pages (that can be enhanced through drawing more details or left simple), crosswords (for some fun alone or group teamwork solving) but you are also more than welcome to bring your own games, activities, art supplies, craft materials.

The Venue is wheelchair accessible, fairly budget-friendly, with a range of cheap drink options from warm drinks, soda, and alcohol. They have bar snacks if you're peckish, but are welcome to get food delivered or pop out to one of the many options in the area. It is also a short walk from both East and West Croydon stations, several bus stops and is opposite a Tram stop.

This event is designed to be a safe accessible space for queer, neurodivergent, and alternative individuals including those who have experienced mental health battles to relax and socialise together. If you’re looking for friends who understand what it feels like to be different and want a comfortable environment where you can stim or fidget, this is the place for you. There’s no requirement to drink alcohol or engage in any physical touch or verbal communication with others. Feel free to get a friend to sign up and come with you, and take your time exploring the space. If it becomes overstimulating, you’re always welcome to step away and self-regulate however you need.

If you want to support us further and help us to keep providing this space, please do consider donating or buying stuff from the shop, which can be found through the shop/donation page(s) on our website:

If you are unable to support us with money, you can help by just attending events, giving feedback, and spreading awareness of our existence! (We run on word of mouth due to "lack of marketing team" ^-^)
