Walk & Talk Around Battersea Park | LGBTQ+ | Neurodivergent | Accessible

Details
{This is a volunteer-run group; at the end of the event description is how you can support us in keeping the group running past attending events!}
Are you in the mood for a Saturday walk? Join us for a leisurely stroll from Battersea Power Underground Station through Battersea Park and back to the starting point following part of the river path. The route is just over an hour, but we allow time for stops and people turning up at the beginning, so the event may last up to 3 hours, depending on stops.
The event will be a relaxed social Walk starting at Battersea Power Underground station, (exact start point determined on day). The Route will be Wheelchair Accessible with a number of (10-15min) rest stops, atleast one will be a toilet stop, and the others for just breathing in the nature and scenery and for anyone who needs a rest.
The aim is to provide a walk that encourages a safe space to be you, no matter what your level of “NeuroSpicy” or Mobility may be!
You can decide whether you want to continue to socialise with other members of the group at the end of the walk. Please be yourself and check out the Website for any Rules/Guidelines that are important on how to conduct yourself within our community space. Freely use fidget toys and Mobility aids (or any other aids) as needed, but if smoking {whatever variant of smoking that may be} please be mindful of others as they may prefer you to step away to do so (due to health/allergies, which they are not required to explain.)
Bring weather-appropriate things, food and drink for either the walk or rest stops.
If you want to support us further and help us to keep providing this space, please do consider donating or buying stuff from the shop, which can be found through the shop/donation page(s) on our website:
https://www.queer-neurodivergents-and-alternatives.co.uk
If you are unable to support us with money, you can help by just attending events, giving feedback, and spreading awareness of our existence! (We run on word of mouth due to "lack of marketing team" ^-^)
