New Open Mic in Kew
Details
I'm excited to be trialling a new Open Mic at The Botanist pub on Kew Green. This West London venue is queer-friendly and a lovely spot to stop in on your way back from work on a Monday night.
This is the first time I've hosted an event there and I'm hoping it will become a regular item in the calendar. Although it's not an exclusively queer event, it is a safe space for all members of the queer community and gender expressions.
A few things to note:
- This is a music-only open mic
- No backing tracks are allowed
- We have a house keyboard and a house acoustic guitar
- There is no sign-up for this event; slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis so please arrive by 7pm to make sure you get to perform
