Queer Social Club - Sydney MEETUP FEB 2026
ππQUEER Brunch - Camperdownππ
Happy Mardi Gras season!! And as Hannah Gatsby once said βwhere do the quiet gays go?β
Regardless of whether you love a party or not, we have the perfect low spoons, low-cost, mid-Mardi Gras Sunday planned that supports local talent - wanna join us??
Weβll start with low-pressure brunch at the local community garden and function space CAMPERDOWN COMMONS. A hidden gem right in the city. Check it out here.
From there, we recommend checking out the FREE exhibit of 30+ artists @infullbloomqueerart right next door at Chrissie Cotter during their sensory friendly hours (until 1pm) .
After that, why not head over to the @genderbility Zine Fair at Erskineville Town Hall (until 3pm) feat. the work of over 20 queer and disabled artists??π₯π₯π₯
Still got social spoons after all that? Don't forget it's also Lunar New Year! Local BIPOC+ queer legends Worship Queer Collective have your evening plans sorted right here with SADDLE UP.
BRING your lovely self, good shoes and weather-appropriate attire! We'll be in an outdoor area with partial shade for brunch, and it's up to you where you go from there.
This event is at Camperdown Commons 31A Mallett St, Camperdown. Parramatta Rd buses are a 5 minute walk away, or closest train station is Newtown, approx 15 min walk.
All aged 18+ welcome.
These events take place on unceded lands of the Land of the Gadigal and Bidjigal Peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and to Indigenous LGBTQIA+ folk, Brotherboys and Sistergirls everywhere. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land
WHAT is QSC: Events by queer folks, for queer folks. With a focus on building friendship, hobbies and connections in your local area, whether youβre a long time local or just moving in.
Weβll see you then? π¦π
