Queer Personal Stories Workshop

Come out for Queer Writers Workshop at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center

We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

If you want to improve your writing and meet other LGBTQ+ folks who like to write, then you should join us.

The workshop will utilize prompts to assist in personal narrative writing, fostering encouragement through positive feedback and providing a platform to share your writing with others.

All writing levels are welcome! The group aims to be low-key. Each session will feature several prompts with 10-minute breaks for writing, and then the group will begin sharing.

*Bring your own notebook/paper etc*

6:30pm: Introductions
6:45 pm: start first prompt
7:00pm: those who are brave enough and want to, share story
7:20pm: start final prompt
7:40pm: sharing round two
8pm: End

The Center is located at 1561 Bedford Ave in Crown Heights in the basement level.
