What we’re about
Casual reading group to meet queer friends in Alexandria. Sometimes it can be hard to gear yourself up for meetups or mixers where you just have to do small talk and talk to strangers. This group aims to reduce that hurdle by using a book as a discussion topic for each meetup, but of course with the opportunity to chat casually as well.
Book club meetups could take many forms, such as a book talk over brunch or coffee, a walk by the river, or a cozy meetup at home with snacks and drinks.
Looking forward to meeting some lovely people and bonding over good books! Gender fluid, gender non-conforming, and non-binary friends are also more than welcome to join!
