Queer Yarns

Queer Yarns is a fibrecraft group for queer/LGBT+ people in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month to chat, get to know other queer people, and work on our craft projects.

All skill levels are welcome. We have crochet hooks, knitting needles and yarn available for beginners.

Why a queer craft group?
Many LGBTQ+ people like connecting with others in the community and sharing their experiences. This group is for queer socializing just as much as it is for crafting!

If you are looking for Auckland craft spaces that aren't LGBT-focused, have a search online, at makerspaces, or at your local library. There are lots out there!
