What we’re about
This group is for anyone who is part of our Rainbow community and we are always keen to have new members and meet new people.
The focus of this group is connect, have fun and make friends.
As an indication this group is for people who identify as Bisexual, Fa'afafine, Gay, Genderqueer, Intersex, Lesbian, Pansexual, Queer, Questioning, Takatāpui, Trans* or any of the other beautiful identities that make up our communities.
We really are just a bunch of friendly queers who like to get together and have fun. Drink a little, chat a lot, and make new and exciting friends.
Regular events are scheduled as follows:
Second Thursday of the month: Book Club
Third Friday of the month: Dinner @ BYO Restaurant
Last Thursday of the month: Games night at Cakes and Ladders, else online.
Other once off & reoccurring events.
Full details are given in the event postings. Everyone is welcome to join in any of the events including on a casual basis.
This is a community group, so everyone is welcome and encouraged to schedule an event. If there is something that you would like to do, then likely there will be others in the group who are also keen to do it, please message the organizers if you'd like to be set up to post an event.
The idea is friendship, community, meeting new people and most of all fun but please make sure to update your RSVP if your situation changes as organizers often need to book tables for the correct number of people or are looking around for people they are expecting.
