The Queer Lisbon group is leaving from Roma/Areeiro Railway Station (Avenida da Romamain entrance) at 11:45 (for the 12:13 Fertagus train [€5.50]. (If you miss that, there are also trains at 12:33, 12:53).

Setubal (1 hour south of Lisbon by train) is having its first ‘LGBTQIA+ Pride March’. Setubal is a charming Portuguese city, famous for its beaches, locally caught fish - especially fried cuttlefish (choco), pretty squares and is a popular city to live. So let's rainbow-it-up and get the train to Setubal for regional sight-seeing, good food and counter-culture all in one day! :-)

Get ready for a fabulous, fierce, and joy-filled Pride celebration in Setúbal! Here’s your glitter-packed itinerary for the day:

💖 13:00 – Welcome Queer Lisbon & Queer Costa de Caprica!
• Meet at Setúbal Station to greet our fabulous friends from Queer Lisbon.
• Hugs, flags, and glitter galore as we kick off the day with love and unity!
🚶‍♀️ 13:30 – City Stroll & Lunch
• Explore the charming streets of Setúbal together.
• Grab lunch at one of the local LGBTQ+ friendly spots — think pastel de nata with a side of pride!
🌳 15:00 – Gather at Parque do Bonfim
• Time to get parade-ready! Meet at Parque do Bonfim to prep your signs, outfits, and energy.
🏳️‍🌈 16:00 – Pride Parade
• March, dance, and celebrate through the heart of Setúbal.
• Bring your loudest cheers and proudest vibes!

🎶 18:30–00:30 – Arrial Pride Festival
At the main stage, expect a dazzling lineup:

For those wanting some sightseeing, the winding streets are lovely and/or you could take a stroll to Praia de Albarquel beach, or up the hill to Forte de Sao Felipe. The Pride March is scheduled to start at 16:00 in Jardim de Bonfim (with pre-event fun from 15:00), and lasts an hour or two. The route will follow: Av. 5 de Outubro, Praca do Bocage, and ends at the outdoor stage in Largo Zeca Afonso.

Return journey: There are frequent Fertagus trains from Setubal back to Lisbon (1 hour journey) at: 20:23, 21:03, 21:23, 22:03, 22:23, and the last train at 23:03.

There is no limit on the number of people attending this event. Please feel free to bring along friends who may not be members of Meetup groups. (This is a joint event with 'LGBTQ Hiking Portugal' and *'*Queer Lisbon, Queer Caparica and Queer Cascais LGBTQ Meetup' Meetup groups)

Setúbal realiza a sua primeira "Marcha do Orgulho LGBTQIA+". Por isso, vamos vestir-nos de arco-íris e apanhar o comboio para Setúbal para desfrutar de pontos turísticos regionais, boa comida e contracultura, tudo num só dia! :-)

Para quem prefere uma caminhada, as ruas sinuosas são encantadoras e/ou pode dar um passeio até à Praia de Albarquel ou subir a colina até ao Forte de São Felipe. A Marcha do Orgulho está marcada para começar às 16h00 no Jardim do Bonfim e durar uma ou duas horas. O percurso seguirá: Av. 5 de Outubro, Praça do Bocage, e termina no palco ao ar livre no Largo Zeca Afonso.
Encontrar-nos-emos na estação Roma/Areeiro às 11h45 (para o comboio Fertagus das 12h13 [€5,50] – ou pode juntar-se a qualquer uma destas estações ao longo do percurso: Entrecampos, Sete Rios, Campolide, Pragal, Corroios.
Viagem de regresso: Existem comboios Fertagus frequentes de Setúbal de regresso a Lisboa (viagem de 1 hora) às: 20h23, 21h03, 21h23, 22h03, 22h23 e o último comboio às 23h03.
