Difficulty: Medium
Meeting Point: would be provided on private whatsapp group.
Any changes: If weather does not permit, and we have strong winds, than we would need to cancel, which we could decide day before on our temp hike whatsapp group.

For all of the fearless outdoors types among us, we want to organize a small hike for the Queer Cascais group on Saturday May 16th at 10am. The hike will start at Mark’s house in Malveira da Serra, and from there it’s about 70mins to the small chapel at the top of the Sintra Serra: Peninha. There are great views back down towards Cascais, and then from the top, all the way up the coast past Colares, if there are no clouds! The walk is a bit challenging, as it is steep in parts and has loose gravel. We advise you not to join if you’re not ready for a rugged romp. Then we’ll come back down through the village and enjoy at sandwich lunch and drinks at Mark’s. Please bring your own lunch & drinks. Overall the walk is about 3 hours, and we’ll lunch around 2pm.
