Whether you’re hoping to find your new bestie or someone to U-Haul with tomorrow, join us on Wednesday August 5th at 6:30PM to make some connections. All gender identities or expressions, sexualities, races, ethnicities, neurotypes, and abilities are welcome with the commitment of acting as a safe space for others. Ages 21-101.

**Queerli will ask you to leave if you are not acting appropriately to make others feel safe and comfortable in this space**

Similar to speed dating, the goal is to get to know someone quickly, and Queerli will facilitate the rounds with icebreaker questions to answer and discuss. Afterwards, you’ll get the opportunity to hang out and socialize with your new bestie… or new crush.

$20 admission (+ fees!) includes one beverage from The Mighty Bean Coffee Truck (coffee or tea - hot or iced, lemonade or soda with option to spike with available liquor at Queerli's table), the speed friending experience, a $6 site fee, and a $8 donation to Queerli. Incredibly limited space, so reserve your spot now through queerfriending.eventbrite.com!

Book & Mortar is a cozy literary escape. They offer a carefully chosen collection of fiction: stories that let you unplug, unwind, and escape into another world. Whether you’re after a new favorite novel or just a quiet place to browse, their shelves and comfy corners are here for you. Step inside, slow down, and get lost in a good book.

Book & Mortar is located at 157 N Country Rd, Mt Sinai, NY 11766. There is a parking lot next to the bookstore. There is an accessible ramp on the left by the front entrance. If, for any reason, you need to cancel and can’t attend, please let us know ASAP, so that we can fill your spot.
