About us

ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER. STOP AAPI HATE. END ANTI-SEMITISM. END RACISM. CHOOSE LOVE. The Canandaigua (CDGA) Queer Lit Book Club has been welcoming readers since 2018. In partnership with Wood Library, we are an inclusive community of readers who meet bi-monthly in a hybrid format to discuss LGBTQAI2S+ books and/or books by LGBTQAI2S+ authors. Representation matters. Join the conversation!

The Canandaigua Queer Lit Book Club respectfully acknowledges that we operate on land, which is the territory of the Onöndowa’ga:’ (Seneca) Nation, a member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Learn more with Ganondagan and the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.

OVERVIEW
* Instant New York Times Bestseller
* Washington Post Best of the Year
* A Reese's Book Club Pick

  • "Featuring an irresistibly no-nonsense, courageous, and determined heroine, Outlawed dusts off the myth of the old West and reignites the glimmering promise of the frontier with an entirely new set of feminist stakes. Anna North has crafted a pulse-racing, page-turning saga about the search for hope in the wake of death, and for truth in a climate of small-mindedness and fear"
