Princeton University Hike

Details
Hello Hikers,
It’s been a while since we have done a Princeton University hike, and I am happy to announce that this will be a collaboration between Queer Men Hike and Sundance Outdoor Adventure Society. Established in 1980, Sundance is an LGBTQ outdoor adventure society focusing on the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Regions.
Co Leaders Phillip Washburne and Glen Leiner invite you to attend this Princeton University hike and first collaboration. We also look forward to future collaborations.
Hike Summary:
After arriving at the University we will hike to Prospect House and Gardens, then we will head to the Wyman Garden at the Graduate College. Both gardens were designed by Beatrix Jones Farrand, the University’s first consulting landscape architect and a powerful force in shaping the look of the campus.

We will then head to the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail. We will hike on one side of the canal and loop back on the other after reaching the basin.
At some point we will stop for lunch, so bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. We won't have access to purchase either.
We will then head back to the city by train, which leaves every hour or so.
Be ready for a 10 mile hike.
