Sunday Morning Hike - Randalls/Wards Island

This is a new hike (ok walk). It’s designed as an early morning walk to beat the heat. We will meet at Carl Schurz Park right at 86th Street and East End Avenue. We will head north and cross Wards Island bridge to Randals/Wards Island. We will walk along the Harlem River Pathway and Wards Island Greenway. Hopefully being along the water will minimize the August heat.

We will start early at 9:00, and the walk will end around noon.

Wear good walking shoes and bring plenty of water. Snacks would be good too.
