I bought a jigsaw puzzle. Here's the plan. We show up, we dump 1,000 pieces on a table, and we start hunting for edges. That's it. That's the whole plan.
But here's what happens at the puzzle table. Nobody's staring at their phone. Nobody's performing. You're just sitting there, turning a piece over in your hand, half-listening to the person next to you and somewhere around piece 200 you realize you're perfectly comfortable working on this fun little group project together.
All ages. Bring a kid, bring a grandparent, bring yourself. If you've never done a 1,000-piece puzzle, you'll discover it's not so intimidating when you're collaborating.
Worst case: We finish half a puzzle, have a beer, and go home.
Best case: We finish it, take a celebratory group photo, and make new friends.
Either way I'm calling it a win.
