September meetup: A twitter tweet symphony about #IchBinHanna

Details
Twitter traffic is highly fascinating - and complex to look at, too. While tweets and their time stamps are certainly interesting in themselves, much more information is potentially available (with the right API access, that is). Meta-information on those who tweeted, retweeted, and liked, their networks and history... Just think of all the things to find out about!
For our September meetup, we will explore the structure of these files and think of ways to manage, analyze and visualize such data. We will use tweets on #IchBinHanna, a recent discussion about the job situation of acedemic staff in Germany (which is bitter) which made it's way into a Bundestag hearing (which is sweet).
Whether you work in academia yourself or not, whether you have explored the twitter API already or not, feel free to join and use this as yet another opportunity to learn about R and from each other. As always, everyone is welcome to join the conversation, ask questions and share their ideas and experiences, no matter their background or skill level.
Just like before, we will host the meeting virtually.
