呢個應該係全港唯一關於R 程式嘅Meetup既交流組 。( 如果搵到有第二個麻煩話我知，方便交流一下)
本人大約兩年前左右接觸Ｒ，由開始好抗拒佢啲抽象既 syntax 到開始欣賞佢嘅強大既威力，並想將呢啲知識同多啲人分享。我相信Social science 同 medical science 入面有好多 用得著 R 嘅地方，所以尤其歡迎學術界人士加入一齊切磋。
由於關於R 英文資訊網上已經有好多，呢個群組入面嘅活動主要會以廣東話作互動，但如果有真係有英文人/國語人嘅話，轉 channel 都梗係無問題。
This should be the only Meetup group in Hong Kong which focused on the programming code R. I aim to create a space to share this exciting language to a wider audience, in particular those in the academica area. While we will be primarily using Cantonese, English speakers are also welcome.

R 是一個非常能力強大嘅統計程式，不過如果你唔係程式員出身，可能都被佢抽象複雜的表達方式嚇退。本人當年也花了無數時間去學習呢啲程式碼以及與其相關的統計概念。
因此，我希望在此分享我對 R, RStudio 及 GitHub 嘅一啲操作心得，讓大家可以在掌握一些基本概念後，自行繼續探索。
我的其中一個 project 可以喺呢個 GitHub 的連結度睇到。
此課程的費用是 HKD400，可以以FPS 預先支付予 michael.lai@mensa.org，然後以電郵通知我，謝謝。
R is a very powerful tool yet difficult to master if one isn't a hardcore programmer in the first place. Indeed, it took me countless hours to get myself comfortable with it and the related statistical concepts by crawling the Internet.
Therefore I am eager to share my fundamental knowledge in R, RStudio, and some simple operataions with GitHub so people can at least get a hand on this, and then progress from there.

The fee is HKD400 per person, paid in advance via FPS to michael.lai@mensa.org. Please notify me via the same email once you have made the payment.
