Talk synopsis

Watch Eugene crack open a data set with some unusual machine learning tricks and a tool that is his go-to package for starting most machine learning exercises, with a number of unexpected superpowers that other tools just don't have. Eugene will share his favourite R package, along with a few other unusual other ways to interrogate and explore data. He will also introduce a number of his favourite analysis techniques and other tools.

Bio

Dr Eugene Dubossarsky has been a commercial data scientist, financial trader, software developer and professional community leader for over 20 years. He is the principal founder of The Australia New Zealand Data Analytics Network, a community of over 15600 members with regular meetups across the region. His data science training business Presciient has been in operation for over 9 years. He is also the Chief Data Scientist and a Managing Partner of AlphaZetta, a global data analytics training and consulting business spanning 44 countries.
