About us

Interesting people. Interesting ideas.

Ever meet someone at a party, coffee shop, or through a friend, and ten minutes later you’re deep into a conversation you never expected to have?

Three hours go by. You leave thinking, Damn. I wish I had more people I could talk to like that.

That’s The Rabbit Hole Society.

It’s for people who like playing with ideas. Learning new things. Asking questions. Pulling apart theories. Following strange connections. Occasionally disappearing down a rabbit hole just because something is interesting.

Maybe your latest rabbit hole is AI consciousness. Attachment theory. Psychedelics. The Fermi paradox. Buddhist philosophy. Why adults have such a hard time making friends. Bizarre medical treatments from the 1700s.

Bring your curiosity. Bring your questions. Bring an idea you want to kick around.

You don’t have to be an expert. In fact, this isn’t about being the expert in the room. It’s about what happens when you put an interesting idea into a conversation and other people start playing with it too.

There are no lectures, assigned topics, or networking agendas. Just interesting people and conversations that go wherever they happen to go.

Intellectual play, in company.

Because some of the best conversations happen by accident. We’d just like to make them a little less dependent on luck.

A little about your host:

I’m Tiffany, and I started Rabbit Hole Society because I’m looking for more of this in my own life.

Most Meetup groups bring people together around something they want to do: hiking, board games, meditation, concerts, whatever. I want to try something different: What if we brought people together around how their minds work and the kinds of conversations they want to have?

I’ve seen what happens when you get the right mix of curious people into a coffee shop. Before long, little groups form, the room gets loud, conversations take unexpected turns, and two hours disappear.

That’s the kind of room I want to create here.

I’ll be your host, but I’m also here for the same reason you are.
I want to find more of my people.
