Enterprise Angular Apps (with KLM✈️!) and Javascript, Music and Lights!

On July 11th, Rabobank Frontend@Scale organises its first public MeetUp and it will be legen-wait for it-dary! With two amazing talks we are starting our MeetUp career with a bang 🤯!

In the first talk we have invited Edwin Meijne (https://github.com/EdwinMeijne), Front-end Developer at Frontmen/CarePay, who is going to take you on a journey through Music 🎷, Light Visuals 🚨, Arduinos 🎮, MIDI 🎛️, LED Strips 🚥 and DIY’ing 🛠️ with his project Edt-2000 (even the name sounds like it was sent from outer-space!).

After a small break we continue with a very interesting discussion on developing (web)apps with millions lines of code. We have invited our friends from AirFrance-KLM✈️: Jelle Kralt (Frontend Architect at KLM) and Volkert Paap (Solutions Architect at KLM). They will be going head-to-head with Richard Ruiter (Solutions Architect at Rabobank) and Jouke Visser (Solutions Architect at Rabobank).

In a panel discussion format our panel members will talk about the challenges of developing an Angular application at enterprise scale. They will uncover best practices, pitfalls, epic wins and fails. You will hear how their architectural decisions enable teams to thrive. Expect them to talk about monorepositories, Angular, organisational politics, legacy code, open source, CI/CD and give you a unique insight how big organisations work.

The panel discussion will be high level, explaining why decisions were made, rather than how they were implemented. The session will be moderated by Stephan Muller (Frontend Developer at Rabobank). The audience will also be able to ask our experts some questions.
