Greetings everyone! I'm excited to introduce our next Conversation Series Event with writer Walter Rhein (our hundred-and-thirty-second Conversation Series event). My editor first discovered Walter via Substack (https://walterrhein.substack.com/). Walter writes on politics, religion, race, and the intersection of the three (and more!). Walter's writing style and strong content stood out to my editor, and we were eventually able to schedule him for a 30-minute prelivestream Zoom conference. I got to learn about Walter's upbringing in a small conservative town, his years spent living abroad, and how his perspective on race was enhanced after returning to the United States with a South American wife. We will discuss Walter's personal evolution of race consciousness and his macro views about race, religion, and politics during this exciting discussion.
