Monday #1 Phone Meeting ** New meeting **

This open meeting is RA's newest and it welcomes anyone, anywhere. It uses a free, U.S. conference call number to meet. Here's the phone number and participant's code:

We meet every Monday at 9:00 am PT/12:00 noon ET.

Our meetings look and feel like other 12 step recovery meetings. However, while it's helpful to have experience with recovery, it's not required. As we say in RA's 4th Guideline...

"We call ourselves racists because we realize that ours is a racist culture. The only requirement for membership is a desire to name and deal with problems caused by racism, recognizing that we too are often part of the problem."

In order to do this, we'll use Racists Anonymous literature, including the RA 12 Steps, the Guidelines for RA Group Effectiveness and the RA stories written and collected by members of our fellowship.
