White Rock Loop Trail ~6 Mile Moderate/Difficult Hike
Details
This trail is inside the Red Rocks national park area. If someone wants to go and does not have a park pass, we can meet at Calico Basin beforehand and take three people in with us.
This hike is on the more difficult side of things. It has a lot of elevation change throughout, and does not have much flat hiking time. We will be taking periodic breaks. Please make sure to bring appropriate footwear, as the trail can get pretty steep and there is scree, and bring at least a small bottle of water for yourself. There is a large parking lot at the trailhead. There is also a bathroom at this trailhead.
The hike has great views of Las Vegas and Red Rocks. The other side of the mountain is a forested area with some wildlife.
Guests are welcome, but I have them disabled to preserve RSVP spots. My wife will be there but not RSVP'd to save a spot.
