Qigong for Health

Details

In May we are focusing on Liver Health.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Liver Meridian is considered responsible for regulating the smooth flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body, particularly related to emotions, digestion, and blood circulation, with a focus on detoxification and maintaining balance, often associated with the eyes and tendons.

Key points about the Liver Meridian:
Emotional connection: In TCM, the Liver is closely linked to emotions, particularly anger and frustration, so an imbalance in this meridian can manifest as mood swings or irritability.
Physical symptoms of imbalance: Symptoms like eye strain, headaches, menstrual irregularities, muscle tension, digestive issues, and pain in the sides can be associated with a Liver Meridian imbalance.
In this months class we will learn forms that promote balance in the liver meridian.

The weekly Friday classes are practice based (we spend less time in our intellect learning about the "why's and hows" and more time in our bodies just experiencing the practice).

These classes are made up of a Hatha Yoga warm up, Qigong Forms, Breathwork and Visualization techniques.
Start class anytime in the month.

Options to enroll include:
4 classes for $88
3 classes for $69
2 Classes for $50
Bring a friend, first time guest price $15

This is not a public drop in class
Prior enrollment is required
Enroll at any time of the month

If you know you will be unavailable to attend certain weeks, or if you are joining partway through the month, you have the option to purchase less classes as shown above (classes do not roll over from one month to the next).
