All radical feminists are welcome: Lesbian, bisexual, straight, married, single, partnered, child-free and mothers, vegan, veggie and carnivorous. Radfem is our thing!
*I HAVE RECENTLY HAD TO THINK ABOUT GROUP SECURITY AND I NEED TO MAKE SOME CHANGES TO THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION*
I will need a photo so I know who I am looking to meet. If you don't want to have a photo of yourself in your profile, that is understandable but please have an image of a cat or something (it helps me to remember you) and send me a photo in an email.
I will also need at least one referee.
Women in this group are members of and support a variety of organisations, attend political events, protests, online spaces and real life social groups.
Some examples:
Nordic Model Now, FILIA, LGBAlliance, A Woman's Place, Speaker's Corner events. FairPlay for women, Get the L Out, feminist book group, Radfem holidays, radfem yoga.
You do not have to support any of these yourself- I am merely giving you some ideas for how you might nominate a referee; perhaps a woman you know from one of these?
If you are absolutely new to radical feminism and don't know anyone yet, let me know that is the case and we'll have a chat. It's not a scary interview or anything! I just need to be a bit more careful these days and keep the wonderful women in this special group safe and happy and relaxed.
I am also in the process of removing members who haven't come to events for over a year in order to increase sense of safety. Removal isn't a ban but they will need to apply again and this time with a referee.
