About us

Depth Over Small Talk | A Radical Honesty Circle

Most conversations stay on the surface.

We talk about work, plans, opinions — but rarely about what’s actually going on inside us.

This group is for people who want something different.

A space to slow down, to be real, and to speak about the things we usually keep hidden:
what we feel, what we avoid, what we’re afraid to say out loud.

***

What this is:
A small, structured group (4–8 people) where we practice:

  • emotional openness
  • radical honesty (with awareness and respect)
  • listening without fixing, judging, or interrupting

You don’t need to be “good at talking about feelings.”You just need to be willing to be honest, at your own pace.

***

What this is NOT:

  • not therapy
  • not advice-giving or problem-solving
  • not a networking or dating event
  • not a place to dominate the conversation

This is about being seen as you are, and allowing others the same.

***

How it works:
We meet in a small circle. There will be simple guidance and prompts to help you go deeper, without pressure.

You are always free to share or to stay silent.Honesty also includes saying “I don’t want to share this right now.”

***

Guidelines:

  • Speak from your own experience (“I”, not “you”)
  • No interrupting, fixing, or analyzing others
  • Confidentiality — what is shared stays here
  • Respect your own and others’ boundaries

***

Who this is for:
People who are tired of surface-level interactions and want more real, human connection.People who are curious about themselves and others.People who are willing to show up without the usual masks.

***

If this resonates, you’re welcome to join.
Just come as you are.

About the organizer:
My name is Ana and I will be leading the group.
Besides my day job as a Product Manager, I study psychology and have been in therapy myself since 2017, when I struggled with an eating disorder.
I created this group as a response to a deeply human need many of us share, the desire for genuine connection, emotional openness, and to feel truly seen as we are, without any filter or masks.
I strongly believe in human connection. Just like we need water, food, and air, we also need people and meaningful relationships in our lives.
Modern society doesn’t make it easy to show ourselves authentically, and this group is my response to that.
