with myself, and with almost everyone I coach:
We’re tired.
But not just physically.
We’re tired of thinking so much… before doing so little.
You sit down to write something, and your mind is already arguing with itself.
You replay conversations you haven’t even had yet.
You second-guess what you mean before you’ve even said it.
And somewhere in that noise, you lose the thing you were trying to do.
Overthinking looks like indecision.
But more often, it’s unfelt emotion in disguise:
- The fear of doing it wrong
- The guilt you never spoke out loud
- The pressure to prove you’re okay, even when you’re not
