What we’re about
Do you feel like your radical leftist politics don't fit into South Asian spaces? If yes, then help build a new meetup in Richmond, VA for values-aligned South Asians! Let's get together to discuss politics, unlearn systems of oppression, embody solidarity, and find joy in community.
This space would be for ALL South Asians: Queer, trans, Dalit, disabled, Muslim, Sikh, Tamil, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Indo-Caribbean, and/or mixed.
This isn’t a “networking” space to drop business cards or a “cultural” club to watch rom-com Bollywood movies. It’s not for folks who are "apolitical" or want to preserve the status quo, avoid the hard conversations, or get defensive when caste or other privilege is named.
