What we’re about
Established in 2002, the Royal Academy of Illustration & Design (aka RAID - it sounds serious, but we're not so serious) has been a longstanding hub for creatives in the Toronto, Ontario area. What began as a shared workspace of four friends has evolved into a co-working space for creatives, including artists, writers, designers, and more. With our new public-facing space, we are excited to start introducing various events to connect and educate our growing community—and, most importantly, to have fun.
Events will include new exhibit openings, hosted speakers, readings, life drawing, and more. Please join us and meet like-minded creative individuals.

Uninstructed Life Drawing at RAID Gallery & Cafe
Join us at RAID Gallery & Cafe in Toronto’s vibrant West End for an evening of uninstructed life drawing with a nude model. From rapid 10–30 second gesture sketches to longer 20-minute poses, it’s a perfect space to explore your creativity and connect with the local art community.

🎨 All skill levels welcome! Basic materials are provided (while supplies last). Seating includes 10 art studio donkeys, 5 easels, plus tables and a comfy couch.
📅 When: 7 PM – 10 PM (doors open at 6:45 PM)
💰 Cost: $25 with Meetup RSVP | $30 at the door (pay on site)
