What is a Project Group:
A project group is a meetup where we regularly get together to learn from and with each other. You're warmly invited to join us regardless of you level or what you're working on. If you bring a project or coding homework we will do our best to match you with a skilled coach for your questions, or if you'd just like to learn, we will make sure to get you started on tutorials and resources. At the moment there are around 20 people joining, supported by 5-6 coaches. Our beginners groups study the basics of programming in Ruby. The next level groups learn the basics of building a web application. Advanced intermediate groups build their Rails application as a shared learning project. More advanced groups maintain previously started projects and continue learning more advanced topics. Advanced students may coach beginners, generally help with questions, or simply focus on learning advanced topics, and maintain their projects.
How much does the workshop cost?
Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!
Who is this aimed for?
We invite all women. We understand women as anyone who identify themselves as a woman. We welcome transgender women. People of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We’ve had people of all ages taking part. Can men attend?
Yes, but you need to be accompanied by an interested lady. Also, girls are given a priority.

Code of Conduct:
Rails Girls events are inclusive, friendly and safe environments. They have zero tolerance of harassment or bullying. We don't accept able-ism, sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia. We respect all participants - take good care of each other, especially those who are beginners, it is a fragile position. No tech elitism. Operating-system-shaming must stay at home. Ask before taking pictures. If you have any things you think our code of conduct is missing, let us know.
