Camping & Glamping in Bucks

We are camping at a very scenic location in the Chiltern hills at a new site for the group. The venue is a working farm with stunning views over the valley and the Crown pub is next door. We will have campfires and barbecues. Early arrivals on Friday can walk to the local village of Radnage and explore the local countryside.
On Saturday we plan a 10 mile circular walk taking in the Chiltern hills with stops at the scenic villages. We may do detour to vineyard on route. Walk will include viewpoint and manor houses plus film locations. Barbecue and campfire in the evening.
On Sunday we plan to take a ride on the Chinnor steam railway and walk back through the historic village of Bledlow and the secret gardens. Route via Ridgeway with pub lunch option.
We have spare tents available for early bookers.
Refreshments
Self-catering on site. Pub next door. We have spare camping stoves to use. Pubs and shops on route of walk.
Travel
Nearest train station Saunderton, 4 miles from site. Local taxi to venue.
Venue also hires out pre erected bell tents, to be booked direct.
Cost of event, £40 per person for 2 nights camping. Includes 2 guided walks. Plus full membership of group ( all future day events are FREE). Reasonable knowledge of English history required for event. To book & for all questions please mail meetup@hawog.org.uk
