Vintage Festival at Brooklands

Today is the "Brooklands Relived" festival with 1930s vehicles parading on the famous racecourse. There is live music, Gatsby re-enactors, vintage stalls, and all the fascinating museums can be visited. We will take in the original Concorde, the superb aeronautics museum and the motorcycle and Bus museums. We can explore the race course, the preserved raised Banking from when Brooklands was a race track. There is a Hill Climb challenge for the vintage vehicles, plus 40s dance displays.
We are also arranging cycle ride from Kingston to start, arriving at 1pm. Please mail on meetup@hawog.org.uk for exact meeting point & contact numbers as may be crowds at entrance area.

Travel
Trains to Weybridge from Waterloo & Clapham Junction. Brooklands 20 minutes walk from station ( plus bus service ).
Start: 1pm at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey.
£3 fee on the day for meet up fees. A good knowledge of English History required for event.
