Evening Walk: Ruislip Woods and Lido

Our first evening walk is a 3 mile linear walk from Ruislip Manor site to the Ruislip Lido. We first explore the Manor Farm site. The Manor House dates in part from the 16th century and the Great Barn even earlier. We then visit the Almshouses by St Martins Church before walking through Kings College Fields.. Then into Ruislip Woods, we will continue to the Lido beach and then a circuit of the lake (location for filming of "Summer Holiday " with Cliff) . We will end for drinks at outside seating at the Waters Edge Pub by the Lido.

Travel - Metropolitan line to Northwood . Start - 7:15 outside Northwood Hills Station , £5 fee for meet up fees. A reasonable knowledge of English history required for event.
