Historical trail through Chiltern Hills

Details
We are exploring one of the most historic parts of the Chiltern Hills today. This is a 12 mile circular walk starting from Beaconsfield village. Route will take in rolling wooded hills of south Chilterns AONB. Our lunch stop will be at the unspoilt village of Chalfont St Giles which has 3 historic pubs to choose from. We can visit the Milton museum if time (home of John Milton of 'Paradise Lost' fame). We will then follow the Misbourne Valley trail before stopping at the Quaker village of Jordans. We can visit the grounds of the manor and the historic buildings here (home of William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania). At the end of the walk there is the option for a tea stop by the station before departure.
