What we’re about
This group is a way for LGBTQ+ people who enjoy board games to meet each other on a regular basis.
We meet up every Thursday night to play board games of all types (including card games, strategy games, party/social games). Any level of experience is fine; we love to teach games and bring new people into this amazing hobby.
What we are:
- An open, welcoming group of boardgamers of all experience levels who want to have fun playing games in a relaxed social environment.
What we are not:
- A singles dating group
- A hookup procurement zone
- A forum for LGBT/gender/queer politics
We've been meeting since January 2014.

Join your fellow LGBTQIA+ folks for our monthly card game afternoon, this time at Plenty of Games!
The main activity will be Magic The Gathering's Commander format but feel free to bring any TCG (Trading Card Game), ECG (Expandable Card Game, Fantasy Flight refers to them as Living Card Games) or deckbuilding game; it's a great opportunity to teach people your game of choice or find your new playgroup! Comment below if you're bringing something. We'll have Commander, Netrunner and Lorcana decks for loan. If you're playing Commander with your own deck(s) please keep them at Bracket 3 or below (we may have a cEDH pod at a future event if there's demand).
Entry is free, however RSPVP'ing is required. If the event is full, add yourself to the waitlist as we may be able to arrange additional seating. Plenty of Games sells a variety of snacks and drinks and no alcohol is to be consumed on the premises.
Lastly, please consider supporting our wonderful host venue by making a purchase; you can never have too many sleeves and they might just have that missing single for the deck you're building.
