Friendship & Improv Comedy Therapy Group
Rainbow Community Studio, 970 E 3300 S, Suite 7B, Millcreek, ut, USAs Rainbow Community Studio, we'd like to help spread the word about the following opportunity at The Neurodiversity Clinic!
Announcing Our Spring Neurodivergent Friendship Therapy Groups!
Join one of our 6-week, LGBTQ+ and neuro-affirming therapeutic groups designed to help neurodivergent adults build authentic, unmasked friendships—on your own terms.
This 6-week, closed-cohort group focuses on rewriting the social “script” and building connections in ways that honor neurodivergent needs, communication styles, and nervous systems. No neurotypical-based skills training to "fit-in". Just real humans learning real relational skills together.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Masked vs. unmasked self
- Emotional safety and rejection sensitivity dysphoria
- Identifying your needs and how to meet (or not meet) the needs of others
- Making your own rules for friendship
- Compatibility, communication & being perceived
- How you can grow and maintain authentic and nourishing friendships
Each week blends grounding exercises, self-reflection, psychoeducation, interactive activities, and group reflection—always at a pace that respects sensory needs and emotional safety.
