The world is a lot right now. This is time to slow down, support our nervous systems, and practice co-regulation together in community.
Queer Cheer Chair Yoga offers a gentle, accessible chair-based movement and meditation practice centered in queer community and care. Using chairs for support, we’ll move slowly, breathe together, and take time to settle — no mats, no experience, no expectations. Chairs are provided; all bodies are welcome.
The entire practice can take place seated on the chair, with a few options for using the chair for balance in standing variations of poses. All abilities are welcome and encouraged to join.
The room will open at 3:30pm for arrivals and informal connection. We’ll practice together from 3:45–4:30pm, followed by 30 minutes of relaxed, optional conversation for anyone who’d like to stay and visit.
