Show Me Country STL hosts a welcoming, queer-centered afternoon of country dancing at HandleBar, with beginner-friendly lessons and plenty of open dancing. Whether you’ve never stepped onto a dance floor or you’ve been two-stepping for years, this is a supportive space to learn line dances, partner dances, and connect with community. No partner or experience required!
The evening typically includes a mix of guided lessons (line dance and partner dance) followed by open dancing featuring line dancing, two-step, waltz, and swing. The atmosphere is casual, affirming, and designed to make country dance accessible to everyone.

On the 4th Sunday of the month, they’ve started including a bonus partner dance review at 4p.
