Walk + Catch Club at Tower Grove Park
Details
Join us for a super chill evening in Tower Grove Park.
SPRING IS HERE! By popular demand (okay… more like warm encouragement), we’re adding a second weekly walk to the Rainbow Fit Club lineup!
We’re trying something a little new: we’ll meet at 5:30 PM for a casual “Catch Club,” inspired by the show Somebody Somewhere. We’ll bring a couple softballs, gloves, a soccer ball, a frisbee, and other simple things to toss around—but feel free to bring your own, too.
We’ll play for about 30 minutes, then head out for our walk at 6:00 PM. You’re welcome to join for either part or both!
This free, family-friendly event is open to all. Kids, pets, friends, and allies are very welcome.
Meeting location:
On the north side of Tower Grove Park (off Magnolia Ave), just west of Central Cross Dr.
From there, we’ll take a relaxed walk around the western half of Tower Grove Park. The route is about 1.5 miles on a paved path that’s generally stroller- and wheelchair-friendly (though it can be a little bumpy in spots).
Depending on your pace, the walk usually takes 20–40 minutes, and we do our best to make sure no one ends up walking alone. If needed, we can split into two groups based on pace. Everyone is invited to regroup afterward where we met up, where the walk leader will be there to welcome folks back.
If you’re running late or not sure where to find us, just send a message here on Meetup—we keep an eye on the comments.
Afterward, feel free to keep hanging out or explore the park.
While our meetups center queer bodies and queer experiences, friends, family, and allies are always welcome.
Looking forward to walking with you.
