Walk at St. Louis Earth Day Festival

Join Rainbow Fit Club for a morning walk through Forest Park as we make our way to the St. Louis Earth Day Festival!
We’ll meet a little before 10:00 AM at the Visitor Center and head out together on a relaxed, social walk. Our route will take us around the Grand Basin, across Picnic Island, and over to Pagoda Circle, where we’ll arrive just as the St. Louis Earth Day Festival kicks off at 11:00 AM.
The full route is about 1.75 miles and includes a mix of paved and gravel paths.
This is a low-pressure, come-as-you-are gathering—whether you’re here to move your body, meet new people, or just enjoy some time outside. Once we arrive, folks are welcome to explore the festival together or branch off on their own.
Rainbow Fit Club events are open to all and center LGBTQ+ community, with a focus on creating welcoming, affirming spaces to connect through movement.
A few notes:
- Wear comfortable shoes for walking on mixed terrain
- Bring water and anything else you might need to feel good outdoors
- Remember sun protection - hats! sunscreen! etc!
- Feel free to join just for the walk, just for the festival, or both
