Join us for a Gay Day at the Park! We started by booking the Chinese Pavilion for LGBTQ+ Walking History Tour with Steven Brawley of STL LGBT History Project, then realized we have our space the whole darn day... why not make use of it?!
Swing by for any and/or all of this full day of merriment, supporting and showing up for the queer community with programming led by queer folx.
Everything is no-cost, though we encourage you to consider making a contribution to the different organizations/leaders to support their work.
8am: It's our usual Rainbow Fit Club community walk! This meets by the Piper Palm House - click here for that event description.
11am: LGBTQ+ Walking History Tour! We will meet at the Chinese Pavilion - click here for that event description.
12:30p: Picnic! We'll be hanging out after the walking history tour back at the Chinese Pavilion and encourage you to BYOpicnic, snacks, picnic blankets, etc. Queer Cocktail Collective will be joining us with a complimentary cocktail AND mocktail offering - bring cash to leave them a tip for being so dope and generous.
1:30p: Guided Meditation with STL Queer Sangha! Join Deanna Sophia Danger for a nervous system nourishing, guided somatic meditation for Mental Health Awareness Month. For this special outside in the park edition, Deanna is offering a guided compassion & sovereignty practice with the 4 elements of nature. Beginners welcome!
