About us
Taking its cue from the song made famous by Kermit, Rainbow Connections 260 knows that "rainbows have nothing to hide."
Our group aims to encourage and empower community-building through social and educational events planned for older* LGBTQIA+ folks... you know, the lovers, the dreamers, and me.
Anyone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and is 18 or older is welcome, as long as they come with a spirit of friendship and connection, without degradation or belittlement of others.
Rainbow Connections is a safe and comfortable space for folks to be authentically themselves without apology or regret, all while fostering a partnership of trust and inclusion within the Fort Wayne community. We plan lots of cool activities like bonfires, board game nights, karaoke, brunches/dinners, and anything else we can dream up! (We're always looking for ideas, too!) After all, "Someday we'll find it...the Rainbow Connection..." Hopefully, that is today.

Let’s show up, show out, and shower some love on our very own Rainbow Connections 260 members as they take the stage in Broadway Spectacular, a Broadway-themed cabaret filled with show-stopping songs and theatrical flair!
Join us for a joyful night of music, community, and applause as we gather to support our friends and enjoy an evening that celebrates the magic of Broadway.
