About us
Taking its cue from the song made famous by Kermit, Rainbow Connections 260 knows that "rainbows have nothing to hide."
Our group aims to encourage and empower community-building through social and educational events planned for older* LGBTQIA+ folks... you know, the lovers, the dreamers, and me.
Anyone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and is 18 or older is welcome, as long as they come with a spirit of friendship and connection, without degradation or belittlement of others.
Rainbow Connections is a safe and comfortable space for folks to be authentically themselves without apology or regret, all while fostering a partnership of trust and inclusion within the Fort Wayne community. We plan lots of cool activities like bonfires, board game nights, karaoke, brunches/dinners, and anything else we can dream up! (We're always looking for ideas, too!) After all, "Someday we'll find it...the Rainbow Connection..." Hopefully, that is today.
