Answers in the Labyrinth

Details

If you talk to the kids and teens in your life about faith, you have probably had a conversation or two about prayer. While you may have reached a point of fulfillment in your prayer life, the kids and teens in your life are just learning about its associated patience, vulnerability, focus, sincerity, and ritual.

Hidden deep within Chicago's Magnificent Mile is an gem, a ritual to support centered prayer that you can share with kids and teens. During our next Meet Up, Answers in the Labyrinth, Associate Pastor Victoria Curtiss from the Fourth Presbyterian Church will share the history and practice of walking a prayer labyrinth, including insights for introduction of the labyrinth to kids and teens. Following her presentation, our group we will be allowed dedicated time to walk the prayer labyrinth.

The architecturally distinguished prayer labyrinth in Fourth Presbyterian Church's Buchanan Chapel draws the faithful, near and far, for prayerful exploration and heightened connectivity. Join Raising Faith in October for Answers in the Labyrinth to gain strategies and insights to support focused prayer for kids and teens. (NB: Thought this event is designed for adults, a second Saturday walk in the prayer labyrinth, for escorted kids and teens, can be arranged upon request of our Meet Up group members. Fourth Presbyterian Church is requesting a donation for the presentation and dedicated walk time which is included as the charge for this Meet Up event.
