About us

We’re parents in Boston who want to raise good humans, and we’d love to figure it out together. Our gatherings are inspired by the Bahá’í teachings on raising children, and families of every background are welcome, whether you’re religious, spiritual, or not sure.

Every parent wants kids who can stand on their own two feet and make the world a better place. How do we nurture kindness, honesty and generosity when they aren’t always rewarded? How do we give our kids a spiritual foundation and a strong sense of right and wrong? Let’s explore it together, while the kids build strong character in their own classes.

We host two kinds of gatherings, in neighborhoods around Boston. Come to one, or both:

  1. Children’s classes: stories, songs, crafts and play, all built around a quality like kindness or generosity each week, with short prayers from the Bahá’í writings. For kids roughly 4 to 10. Parents stay on site.
  2. Parent discussions: relaxed conversations about raising kids with the kind of character that makes the world better: what’s working, what’s hard, and what we’re learning along the way. These often run alongside the children’s class.

Most gatherings are in community rooms in residential buildings, and a few are in hosts’ homes. RSVP and we’ll be in touch with the details.

Bring your kids, your questions, and a friend if you like. Always free.

(Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them)
