Random Acts of Kindness of Alaska

Mission Statement:

• Our mission is to make a positive impact on our communities, to make someone smile, to give hope to someone in need, to energize and revitalize those who give of themselves to support our communities. 

• In all meetings and activities, we will act with honesty, fairness, courtesy, competence, inclusiveness and respect for others. We are nonpartisan and nonsectarian. We will avoid all real or perceived perceptions of being affiliated with any religious or political agenda, group, or movement. 

• We recognize that each of us have a spark, and that as individuals we can make a positive impact on one person’s life but as a group, we are a movement that can lift a community.

Who We Are:

• We are Instruments of Fate. One Random Act of Kindness (RAK), in the right place at the right time, can have a profoundly positive effect on someone’s life.

What We Do:

• Random Act of Kindness can be as small as opening a door for someone at the store or as large as having a RAK group provide volunteer support at a major local charitable event. Whether you like working together as a group or want to spread happiness by yourself, all kind souls are welcome here. Good Karma = Happy Life.

• Our RAKs are both Random and Targeted, proactive and reactive.

• We are not associated with, and will avoid all real or perceived perceptions of being affiliated with, any religious or political agenda, group, or movement.
