What we’re about
This is a group for progressive and liberal-minded individuals to meet like-minded friends, foster social connections, and develop new friendships. In these times, many of us feel the need more than ever to expand our social circles and support systems to include others who share similar values. Our group more a fun bunch of like-minded people enjoying activities together rather than an actual political group.
We may not always agree on every issue, but we share basic liberal values. We believe in transcending rigidity, traditional gender roles, religion, nationality, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation. We prioritize inclusivity, social justice & equity, political awareness, support & friendship. If you enjoy discussing politics, business, hobbies or just dining out and attending fun events, you are welcome to join our group.
We may have events related to advocacy on important issues/causes from time to time, especially close to election cycles. Some events may include speakers on political topics and action. Topics of most interest to our group include women's rights, minority rights, healthcare, voting rights & protecting funding/programs that serve marginalized populations. We may engage in lively discussions on what we can do to elect smart, progressive candidates for the 2026 mid-term elections.
This group is not for folks who are undecided or flip -floppers, conservative thinkers, or those who have conservative ideology. This is not a group for MAGAs. Members who share negative ideals that conflict with basic liberal values will be removed from the group.
