Let's take a free, private docent-led tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art. We will be taking the North Carolina Art Tour, which "encompasses paintings, textiles, ceramics, sculptures, and photographs—works as varied as the state is wide. Each object inspires and teaches, just as did many of the artists who led local and national art movements. Come explore new connections in NC’s cultural history."

Our private tour starts at 10:30am and should last about 50 minutes but will likely go slightly longer to 11:45am.

Meeting Place: We will meet in the West Building again, the newer building, near the large artwork you can see from the entrance.

Parking: The museum has two parking lots; you can go left or right when you enter the main entrance. If you go left, it will take you around the museum, and you will walk to the West Building. If you make a right, that parking lot will have a pathway down to the West Building. Whichever lot you choose, give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the museum.
Accessible spots are located just outside of the East Building, adjacent to Gipson Plaza.

I hope you can make it :-)

If your plans change, remember to update your RSVP at least 24 hours before the start time of the event so that someone else can attend. Don't be a flake.

The event starts on time, so give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to the building to meet us.
